The West Coast Broker Retreat kicked off in vibrant style with a Welcome Reception on the lawn at the iconic La Quinta Resort, set against the glowing desert backdrop and welcoming 270 guests. The evening embraced a bold, Fiesta-inspired theme bursting with color and energy. Papel picados danced overhead while custom pergolas wrapped in lush bougainvillea framed the lounge spaces. A 16-foot-wide statement bar anchored the event, featuring a bold patterned facade and a warm wood-paneled back bar adorned with oversized paper flowers. Guests mingled between a life-size piñata photo booth installation, a hands-on spice mixing station, and an elevated tequila tasting experience. Every menu was a work of art—hand-painted by our in-house artist on terracotta pots at each food station. The night came alive as a 14-piece, all-female Latin orchestra filled the lawn with music, setting the tone for an unforgettable retreat.
The following day began with curated daytime experiences, giving guests the option to tee off in a golf tournament or get their adrenaline pumping at the BMW Raceway experience. That evening, the retreat transformed into pure Hollywood glamour at the Casa Courtyard, Greta Garbo’s historic desert home, where we designed and produced an opulent, 1940s-inspired affair. The space was drenched in gold and black, with a dramatic stage framed by 16–18-foot-tall gold palm trees, black velvet draping, and a live French jazz band. Golden birdcage gazebos created intimate, dining nooks throughout the courtyard, complemented by a striking circular center bar. Guests were welcomed with champagne service from an eight-tier champagne tower and enjoyed a custom martini bar, a faux pearl necklace workshop, and posed for photos beside a vintage 1940s automobile.
